Aloo Palak Rice

Ingredients

  1. Ghee: 2 teaspoons
  2. Whole garam masala (cinnamon, green cardamom, cloves, black pepper): 1 each
  3. Finely chopped onion: 1 small
  4. Ginger garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
  5. Chopped spinach: 1 cup
  6. Cubed potato: 1 small
  7. Soya chunks: 1 cup
  8. Turmeric powder: ¼ teaspoon
  9. Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
  10. Garam masala powder: ¼ teaspoon
  11. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Washed and drained rice: ½ cup
  14. Water as required

Method of Preparation

  1. - In a pressure cooker, heat oil and stir-fry whole garam masalas for few seconds.
  2. - Add in the chopped onion and cook for a minute on medium-high flame.
  3. - Add ginger garlic paste and stir well.
  4. - Add the spinach, potato and soya chunks along with the powdered spices, Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup and salt to taste. Mix well.
  5. - Wash and drain the rice and add to the pressure cooker. Mix all the ingredients well, add 1 cup water and pressure cook until 1 whistle.
  6. - Remove and pack in the tiffin box.

  8. Almonds and papaya (or any fruit of your choice)
