Ingredients
- Semolina: 1 cup
- Yogurt: 1 cup
- Apple peeled, pitted and chopped: 1
- Margarine: 1 cup
- Baking powder: 1 ½ teaspoon
- Sugar: 40 grams
- Vanilla extract: 1 tablespoon
- Kissan Mixed Fruit Jam: 2 tablespoons
Method of Preparation
- In a bowl, add semolina and yogurt. Mix it well and keep it aside. (It has to be soaked and kept aside for 10 minutes).
- Now in another bowl add margarine, sugar, vanilla essence and whisk it together until the sugar is completely mixed.
- Next, add the prepared semolina and yogurt mixture, Kissan Mixed Fruit Jam, baking powder and finely chopped apples to the batter. Give it a quick mix.
- Transfer into greased cupcake molds.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 10-15 minutes or until a toothpick pierced in the middle comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool at room temperature.
- Now melt the jam and brush it lightly on the cupcakes.
