Apple Jam Instant Pies

Apple Jam Toast Sandwich is a deliciously sweet delight for the apple of your eye! Kissan Pineapple Jam compliments the flavour of these pies and also adds an amazing fruity taste to the dish.

Ingredients

  1. Whole wheat bread: 4 slices
  2. Sliced red apple: 1
  3. Cinnamon: A pinch
  4. Kissan Pineapple Jam: 1 tablespoon
  5. Butter: 1 teaspoon
  6. Melted butter: 1 teaspoon
  7. Milk: 1 tablespoon

Method of Preparation

  1. In a pan, heat butter and saute sliced red apples with cinnamon for 5-6 minutes until soft Remove from pan and toss in jam
  2. Lightly sprinkle bread slices with milk / water and flatten with a rolling pin
  3. Spread Kissan Pineapple Jam on top of the bread slices and a spoonful of apple mixture in the centre
  4. Cover each of the slices with the other half and use milk to seal the edges
  5. Brush the remaining butter on it and grease the baking tray
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes until crisp and golden
  7. Slice it into two halves and pack the tiffin box.
