Baked Carrot Falafel

Ingredients

  1. Soaked chickpeas: 1 cup
  2. Grated carrot: 1
  3. Salt to taste
  4. A pinch of baking soda
  5. Garlic: 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Red chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
  7. Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
  8. Coriander leaves: 1 teaspoon
  9. Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
  10. Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
  11. Olive oil: 1 tablespoon
  12. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  13. Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon

Method of Preparation

  1. Take a bowl and add coarsely ground chickpeas, carrot, coriander, garlic, lemon juice, salt to taste and baking soda
  2. Then season the mixture with spices. Add olive oil, Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup and mix it well
  3. Take a small portion of falafel mixture and shape it into flat tikkis
  4. Next, bake the tikkis for 10 minutes until cooked
  5. Serve these crunchy falafel tikkis in the tiffin box.
