Baked Samosa Patti

Samosas without potatoes? Sounds unbelievable, but we’ve made it happen! It's the healthier version of your child's favourite dish and an innovative way to sneak in veggies so that your children get their required quota of nutrients. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup gives the filling an enhanced flavour making it even more delectable.

Ingredients

  1. Samosa Patti: 6 each
  2. Olive oil: 1 teaspoon
  3. Cumin seeds: 1 teaspoon
  4. Saunf powder: 1 teaspoon
  5. Chopped onions: 1 tablespoon
  6. Chopped spinach: ½ cup
  7. Grated carrot: 2 tablespoons
  8. Shredded cabbage: 2 tablespoons
  9. Ginger garlic paste: 1 teaspoon
  10. Turmeric powder: ½ teaspoon
  11. Red chilli powder: ½ teaspoon
  12. Green peas: 2 tablespoons
  13. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  14. Chopped spring onion: 1 tablespoon
  15. Grated cheese: 2 tablespoons (10 grams)
  16. Salt to taste
  17. Corn flour and water mixture to brush on the patti

Method of Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds and once it starts to crackle add the veggies and saute it for a few minutes
  3. Add ginger garlic paste, Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup, green peas and the powdered spices. Season it with salt
  4. Cool the mixture down and add the grated cheese to it
  5. Brush the samosa patti with cornflour and water mixture, spoon the filling and fold it into a samosa shape
  6. Bake the samosas in the oven for 10 minutes until golden brown
  7. Serve these healthy baked samosas in your child's tiffin box.
