Ingredients
- Wheat flour: 250 grams
- Chilled butter: 150 grams
- Kissan Strawberry Blast Jam: 2 tablespoons
- Fresh strawberries (sliced): 150 grams
- Water as per required
Method of Preparation
- Preheat oven to 180˚C.
- Sieve the flour into a mixing bowl and add the cubed butter.
- Rub the flour and butter gently together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs to make sure the butter does not melt with your fingers.
- Gently mix it together by adding a little water to it.
- Now chill the mixture for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.
- Cut circles out of the dough and place them into the tart moulds. Before baking, poke the tart with the fork and place a bean bag in the centre of the tart to retain their shapes.
- Bake in the oven for 5 - 7 minutes or until the tart shells are light golden in colour.
- Remove the tart out of the moulds and let it rest for 2- 3 minutes
- In a bowl, liquify Kissan Strawberry Blast Jam and drop a little jam into the middle of each tart. Garnish with strawberries.
