Beetroot Samosas

Baked Aloo & Beetroot Samosa is a wholesome yet delicious recipe that your kids will be delighted to find in their tiffins! Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup adds that extra hit of taste and flavour to this nutritious recipe that’s sure to please even the fussiest eater.

Ingredients

  1. Refined flour: 1/2 cup
  2. Ghee: 1 teaspoon
  3. Beetroot puree: 2 tablespoons
  4. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Sweet potato boiled and chopped: 1 medium
  7. Onions chopped: 1/2 no
  8. Oil: 3 teaspoons
  9. Cumin seeds: 1 pinch
  10. Chaat masala: 1/4 teaspoon

Method of Preparation

  1. Make a stiff dough with flour, ghee and beetroot puree.
  2. In a pan, heat 1 teaspoon of oil, add cumin seeds and allow to crackle. Add onion, sweet potato, chaat masala, salt and Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup.
  3. Divide samosa dough into 3-4 balls. Make a rectangle and cut in half.
  4. Place 1 teaspoon of the mixture in the centre and form samosa triangles.
  5. Brush oil on the outside and bake in OTG for 15 mins at 180 °C until golden brown.
