Vegetable Bread Toast is a unique twist on the regular veggie sandwich as it transforms the vegetables into a more fun dish for your children to eat in their tiffins. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup tricks your kids into eating the vegetables they usually avoid by adding a lip-smacking flavour to the dish.

Ingredients

  1. Whole wheat bread: 4 slices
  2. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  3. Besan: ½ cup
  4. Salt: 1 teaspoon
  5. Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
  6. Pepper powder: 1 teaspoon
  7. Baking soda: A pinch
  8. Oil: 2 teaspoons
  9. Chaat masala: 2 teaspoons
  10. Finely chopped coriander: 1 tablespoon
  11. Chopped onions: ¼ cup
  12. Chopped tomato: ¼ cup
  13. Grated carrot: 1 tablespoon
  14. Grated beetroot: 1 tablespoon
  15. Chopped green capsicum: 1 tablespoon

Method of Preparation

  1. Make a smooth batter using besan, salt, turmeric powder, Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup, pepper and soda. Add water for the required consistency of the batter
  2. Heat oil in a non-stick pan
  3. Dip one bread in the batter and place it on the pan. Allow it to cook
  4. Sprinkle the veggies and chaat masala on one side of the bread slice
  5. Flip it over and cook it until done
  6. Cut it into 2 halves and pack it in your child’s tiffin box.
