Chickpeas Cutlets

The perfect mid-day meal to keep your little one energized, Chickpea Cutlets with Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup is a great and exciting tiffin recipe. Wrapped in crispy sesame seeds Chickpea Cutlets infused with an authentic burst of tomato flavouring delivered by Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup, a flavourful combo of tangy tomato with energy rich chickpeas is formed.

Ingredients

  1. Chickpeas (soaked overnight and boiled): ½ cup
  2. Spring onions: 2 tablespoons
  3. Spring onion greens: 1 tablespoon
  4. Chopped onions: 2 teaspoons
  5. Chopped mint: 2 tablespoons
  6. Chopped fresh coriander: 2 tablespoons
  7. Cumin powder: 2 teaspoons
  8. Black pepper powder: 2 teaspoons
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Oil: 1 tablespoon
  11. Besan:1 tablespoon
  12. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  13. Maida and water for slurry
  14. Sesame seeds to coat

Method of Preparation

  1. Take all ingredients except sesame seeds, besan and Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup and grind together coarsely.
  2. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  3. Add besan, Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup and mix it well.
  4. Make small patties out of the mixture.
  5. Mix maida and water together to make a slurry.
  6. Coat the patties with the slurry and roll in the sesame seeds.
  7. Pan fry the patties until golden brown on both the sides.
  8. Tiffin siders:
  9. Almonds and chopped pineapple (or any fruit of your choice).
