Gram flour stuffed kachori

  1. Kachori Dough:
  2. Maida: 1 cup
  3. Whole wheat flour: 1 cup
  4. Ghee: 1 tablespoon
  5. Salt to taste: 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Water
  7. For stuffing:
  8. Gram flour (besan): 1/2 cup
  9. Cumin seeds: 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Grated ginger: 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Garam masala powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Dry mango powder: 1/4 teaspoon
  13. Oil: 1 tablespoon
  14. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 - 3 tablespoons

Method of Preparation

  1. In a pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil, add cumin seeds, let them crackle.
  2. Add grated ginger saute for 30 seconds.
  3. Now add garam masala, dry mango powder and gram flour saute for around 2 minutes.
  4. Then add Kissan Fresh Tomato ketchup, mix it well.
  5. For Dough
  6. In a bowl, add whole wheat flour, maida, ghee and salt. Mix it well. Then add water gradually to form a smooth dough
  7. Make lemon size balls of the prepared dough. Roll them out in small circles. Place around 1 tablespoon of stuffing at the centre. Apply a little ghee on the edges to bring the edges together and make a ball.
  8. With the help of a rolling pin, roll them into medium sized circles.
  9. Deep fry until golden brown.
