Green Moong Bhurjee

Vegetable & Moong Bhurji is an incredibly healthy tiffin option that your kids will actually enjoy. Just add in Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup to give your dish a tasty zing!

Ingredients

  1. Cooked whole green moong: 1/2 cup
  2. Chopped onions: 2 tablespoons
  3. Chopped tomatoes: 2 tablespoons
  4. Chopped green chilli: 1 teaspoon
  5. Chopped coriander leaves: 1 tablespoon
  6. Lemon juice: 2 teaspoons
  7. Roasted unsalted walnuts
  8. Olive oil : 2 teaspoons (10 ml)
  9. Salt to taste
  10. Amchoor powder: 1/4 teaspoon
  11. Red chilli powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Turmeric powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  13. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  14. Lettuce leaves whole

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat oil in a pan and then saute the onions, tomatoes and green chillies until soft.
  2. Add the powdered spices, lemon juice and salt to taste
  3. Next, add the cooked whole green moong and mix it well
  4. Top it with coriander leaves and chopped walnuts
  5. Serve it in lettuce leaves
