Kidney Beans Burger

Kids just love the idea of a burger in their tiffin. That’s why we’ve brought you the Kidney Beans Burger, which is a fun, new take on a fast food classic that’s also super healthy! Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup gives the dish eye catching colour and delicious flavour, making this recipe a definite win-win for both you and your child.

Ingredients

  1. Boiled kidney beans: 2 cups
  2. Dried oregano powder: 1 teaspoons
  3. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  4. Cumin powder: 1 teaspoon
  5. Paprika: 1 teaspoon
  6. Finely chopped garlic: 2 cloves
  7. Boiled and mashed potato: 1 cup
  8. Breadcrumbs: 1 tablespoon
  9. Oil: 1 tbsp
  10. Green peas: 2 tablespoons
  11. Grated carrots: 2 tablespoons
  12. Burger buns: 2
  13. Mayonnaise: 2 tablespoons
  14. Slice of cheese: 1

Method of Preparation

  1. In a big bowl, add boiled potato, kidney beans, grated carrots, green peas and mash it well together.
  2. Now for seasoning, add oregano powder, paprika, cumin powder, garlic, Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup and bread crumbs. Mix it well.
  3. Make medium size patties out of the prepared mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a pan, and sear the patties till brown on each side.
  5. Spread Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup on the lower burger bun, then add mayonnaise on another burger bun, place a slice of cheese and the patty on top of it and close the burger with the top bun.
  6. Your burger is ready.
  7. Divide the burger into two equal parts and serve.
