Oats Muffins

Oats Muffins is a fun recipe for your child’s tiffin which brings together the goodness of vegetables and healthy oats. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup adds the much loved tomato flavour to the dish and ensures the muffins get an appealing colour!

Ingredients

  1. Rolled oats: 1/2 cup
  2. Oats flour: 1/2 cup
  3. Finely chopped bell peppers: 1/2 cup
  4. Chopped coriander: 2 teaspoons
  5. Grated processed cheese: 2 teaspoons
  6. Curd/ Yoghurt: 1/4 cup
  7. Melted butter: 1 tablespoon
  8. Baking powder: 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Baking soda: 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Skimmed milk: 1/4 cup
  11. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  12. Pepper to taste
  13. Salt to taste

Method of Preparation

  1. In a big bowl, add oats flour and rolled oats along with salt and black pepper powder, baking powder and baking soda.
  2. Add bell peppers and mix it well.
  3. Add curd, milk, melted butter, coriander leaves and finally the cheese along with Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup. Mix till you get the consistency of a thick batter.
  4. Drop spoonfuls of the batter in the muffin cups on a muffin tray till they are 3/4 full. Bake at 180°C for 20 - 25 minutes.
  5. Prick the muffins with a toothpick, which should come out dry.
  6. Remove from the oven, take it out of the moulds.
  7. Let the muffins cool and pack it for tiffin box.
