Pesto Spaghetti

Kids just love pasta and Spaghetti Pasta with Pesto Sauce is a must try recipe to expose those young taste buds to a whole new world of flavours. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup acts as the perfect ally for making the dish delicious, colourful and tiffin time fun.

  1. Boiled spaghetti till al dente: 250 gm
  2. Olive oil: 1 Tablespoon
  3. For the Pesto Sauce
  4. Basil leaves: 1 cups
  5. Grated parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup
  6. Pine nuts: 1/4 cup
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Garlic cloves: 2
  9. Olive oil: 3 tablespoons
  10. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  11. Mix Vegetables (Blanched Baby corn, broccoli, carrots)

Method of Preparation

  1. For the Pesto Sauce
  2. Take basil leaves, pine nuts, salt, garlic cloves, olive oil, combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend till a semi-fine paste
  3. For the Pasta:
  4. In a pan, add the olive oil.
  5. Once the oil is hot, saute the mixed vegetables for at least 2 minutes.
  6. Now add spaghetti to the vegetables, salt to taste. Let it heat through.
  7. Next, add 1 tablespoon Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup in it
  8. Switch off the gas and add pesto sauce. Give it a quick toss.
  9. Mix well, adjust seasoning and garnish with some more parmesan.
