Ragi Sprouts Idli

Getting your kids to eat a wholesome tiffin meal is no more a challenge, with our Ragi Sprouts Idlis with Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup. For an excellent source of calcium, we have paired ragi and sprouts with the lip-smacking tomato flavour of Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup. Make these steamed idlis in a jiffy and enjoy watching your kids ask for more.

Ingredients

  1. Ragi flour: 1 cup
  2. Rice flour: ½ cup
  3. Whole wheat flour: ¼ cup
  4. Sprouts: ¼ cup
  5. Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
  8. Chopped ginger: 1 teaspoon
  9. Finely chopped green chilli: ½ teaspoon
  10. Chilli powder: 1 teaspoon
  11. Finely chopped coriander leaves: 1 tablespoon
  12. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  13. Water as required
  14. Fruit salt: 1 teaspoon

Method of Preparation

  1. - In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together and make a thick batter. Add the fruit salt at the end once you have a smooth batter.
  2. - Heat the steamer and grease an idli mould with oil.
  3. - Pour the batter in the idli mould.
  4. - Steam the idlis for 10 to 12 minutes or until they are done.
  5. - Let them cool for few minutes and they are ready to go in the tiffin box.
  6. Tiffin Siders:
  7. Almonds and kiwi (or any fruit of your choice).
