Spinach And Cheese Pancake

Cheese Pancakes with Spinach is a healthy and delicious recipe that kids will surely enjoy and want more of in their tiffin. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup helps to blend the flavours of the dish together and it tastes just amazing!

  1. Semolina: 1 cup (150 grams)
  2. Low fat yogurt: 1 cup (150 grams)
  3. Blanched spinach (pureed): ½ cup (75 grams)
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Grated mozzarella cheese: 1 tablespoon (10 grams)
  6. Baking powder: ½ teaspoon (5 Grams)
  7. Oil for cooking
  8. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon

Method of Preparation

  1. Mix all the ingredients except oil and cheese and make a batter of dripping consistency using water. Keep aside for 5 - 6 minutes
  2. Heat a nonstick pan and grease it lightly with oil.
  3. Spread a layer of batter on the pan to make a pancake. Spread a little oil around the pancake to keep it from sticking to the pan.
  4. Cook it over a slow flame until the base is golden brown. Turn over to cook the other side. Remove from the pan, sprinkle cheese on top and serve hot.
  5. Repeat with the remaining batter to make more pancakes.
