Strawberry Vermicelli Ladoo

Strawberries are irresistible to children! For a perfect solution to your tiffin worries we have combined the benefits of protein-rich nuts with the lip-smacking flavour of Kissan Strawberry Blast Jam in our Strawberry Vermicelli Ladoo. Made with 100% real fruit, Kissan Strawberry Blast Jam gives a sweet, strawberry-flavoured base to vermicelli, and together with nuts create an energy-rich tiffin meal for your children.

Ingredients

  1. Milk: 1 cup
  2. Sugar: 2 tablespoons
  3. Pre-roasted vermicelli: ½ cup
  4. Kissan Strawberry Blast Jam: 3 tablespoons (45 grams)
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Chopped mixed nuts (mainly peanuts): 2 tablespoons
  7. Crushed & powdered mixed nuts: 2 tablespoons

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat a pan on medium flame and add milk and sugar.
  2. Allow to cook until the mixture thickens.
  3. Add the vermicelli and Kissan Strawberry Blast Jam. Whisk the kheer mixture until smooth.
  4. Add a pinch of salt and transfer the kheer to a mixing bowl.
  5. Garnish with chopped nuts and let the mixture cool in the refrigerator. Make small, round ladoos out of the mixture.
  6. Roll the ladoos in the mixed nuts powder and they are ready to pack in the tiffin box.
  7. Tiffin siders:
  8. Chopped papaya (or any fruit of your choice) and chutney sandwich.
