Stuffed Pea Cakes

We just know your child will love the crispy taste of these Green Peas Tikkis stuffed with a cheesy surprise! Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup adds a punch of flavour and makes the dish even more appealing.

Ingredients

  1. Green peas:150 grams
  2. Cumin seeds: ½ teaspoon
  3. Chopped green chilli: ½ teaspoon
  4. Chopped ginger: 1 tablespoon
  5. Chopped yellow bell peppers: 2 tablespoons
  6. Chopped red bell peppers: 2 tablespoons
  7. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  8. Roasted gram flour (besan): 2 tablespoons
  9. Oil: 2 tablespoons
  10. Grated cheddar cheese: 20 grams
  11. Salt to taste

Method of Preparation

  1. In a pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds, ginger, chilli, green peas and bell peppers. Saute for a few minutes and season with salt
  2. Once cooked, blend in a mixer. Take out in a bowl and mix roasted gram flour (besan) and Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup to make a mixture
  3. Make a golf-sized ball out of the mixture, make a hole at the centre and stuff with cheese Flatten it into a cake shape
  4. Heat oil in a pan, lightly roast it on both sides for few minutes each
  5. Serve these crispy peas cakes in your child’s tiffin.
