Stuffed Tomatoes with Lime Rice

  1. Tomatoes scooped out: 2
  2. Chopped onion: 1 tablespoon
  3. Fresh green peas: 1 tablespoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Cooked rice: 1 cup
  6. Olive oil: 1 teaspoon
  7. Mustard seeds: 1/2 teaspoon
  8. Curry leaves: 3
  9. Pinch of hing
  10. Chopped ginger: 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Pinch of turmeric
  12. Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup: 1 tablespoon
  13. Chana dal: 1 teaspoon
  14. Lemon juice: 1 teaspoon
  15. Chopped green chilli: 1/2 teaspoon
  16. Cashew: 2 teaspoons

Method of Preparation

  1. Heat oil, add the mustard seeds, green chillies, curry leaves, hing, ginger, turmeric, chana dal, onion and vegetables and saute it well.
  2. Add the rice, salt, cashew, lemon juice, Kissan Fresh Tomato Ketchup and mix well.
  3. Stuff the tomatoes with the rice and put it in the tiffin.
  4. The heat of the rice will soften the tomato perfectly over time.
